Learners’ Hub: Lekhaun is a week-long academic writing workshop. The priLearners’ Hub: Lekhaun is a week-long academic writing workshop. The primal focus of Lekhaun is improving the comprehensive and free writing skills the students possess through the means of paragraph writing.

Day 1

The Lekhaun team meets the students and assesses the students on their essay and presenting skills. Each student is assessed by multiple facilitators to avoid bias results and increase validity.

Day 2

The second day focuses on connecting with young learners and briefing about the structure of the essay, types of essay, and writing process. At the end of the day, learners choose one type of essay to write and will write their first draft of the essay and receive feedback from the facilitators.

Day 3

On the third day, learners will be shown the writing process to write different types of essays. Lekhaun team focuses on three types of essay and they are descriptive essay, informative essay and persuasive essay. At the end of the day, learners will write their second draft of the essay and receive feedback from the facilitators.

Day 4

The team focuses on showing learners ways to incorporate similes, idioms to make their essays more refined. At the end of the day, learners will write their third draft of the essay and receive feedback from the facilitators.

Day 5

On the fifth day, learners will be writing their final draft of the essay where the facilitators individually guide them to complete it. Being the last day, the facilitators and learners also spend quality time reminiscing their time together. We award the best essay writer on this day.
